In this alternative design, I have turned the design on the end and made it into a portrait versus landscape card. Amazing!!

NOTE: I think I inadvertently gave an incorrect measurement during my video:
card base is 7-1/2″ x 4.25″, score 3-1/4″ from both ends on the 7-1/2″ side
On 7-1/2′ side make a tick mark on both sides of the 7-1/2″ sides and at both ends at 1-5/8″ from the top and bottom (4 tick marks only on 7-1/2″ side
To make the swing mechanism: on the 4-1/4″ side align the trimmer blade 3/4″ from the left and right edges and cut from 1-5/8″ to the 3-1/4″ score line. I show this in the video but I think I said (4-1/4″) The score line is at 3-1/4″ on each end of the 7-1/2″ side. You will make 4 cuts/slits. Then you will cut from the 1st cut line over to your other cut line and that makes that rectangle cut open on 3 sides. It is still attached at the 3-1/4″ score line.

Violet Dreams Suite Collection Triple Pop-Up Fun Fold Card

Today, we are combining this show-stopping interactive mechanism with the breathtaking, elegant layers of the brand-new Stampin’ Up! Violet Dreams Suite Collection.

The star of this show is the beautiful two-sided 12″x12″ designer series paper, Violet Dreams. This designer paper includes delicate florals, soft stripes, and polka dots. As an added bonus, this designer series paper pack includes coordinating punch out florals, blooms, leaves, and tags. These precut pieces bring to life any card, scrapbook page, or project.

Coordinating colors included in this designer series paper pack include Secret Sea, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Darling Duckling, Hydrangea Hue, and Peaceful Pine. I also think you could incorporate Highland Heather into the mix. Stampin’ Up! products and color pallets coordinate well with all of their stamps, dies, embossing folders, etc.

Other products I’d like to showcase that were used in making this card is the Framed Violets Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Framed Violets Dies – combined as the Framed Violets Bundle which always gets you 10% off if purchased as a bundle.
